Good Morning; Microcracks are a serious concern. The damage has already occurred, but the results will not show up for a few years. You should contact your module manufacturer and see what their recommendations are. Based on the amount and size of hail, they recommend that the entire array be scrapped.

I advised him to request a replacement of the whole array or, if not, a module by module inspection for I-V curves and hot spots. I am wondering if should reach out to other clients. I don't want to be a storm chaser, but am concerned about micro-fractures. Waddayallthink? Shine On!
