We continue to install Fronius inverters on our ground mounted systems here in southern VT and some of eastern NY. -Glenn Sent from my 'smart'phone, so please excuse typos and spelling errors. ------ Original message------ From: August Goers via RE-wrenches Date: Fri, Apr 22, 2022 2:41 PM To: RE-wrenches; Cc: August Goers; Subject:[RE-wrenches] Fronius in the game? Hi Wrenches, I recently had a friend install a Fronius Primo inverter in California. When he submitted for interconnection, PG&E said it didn't meet the current smart inverter requirements. Here is the response from Fronius tech support: "The Fronius Primo and Symo line are not compliant with Rule 21 Phase 3. With the lack of Phase 3 certification, these inverters can't be installed since June 22, 2020 in any territory of the big 3 IOUs (PG&E, SCE, SDGE) or where a listing on the CEC Grid Support (‘Smart’) Inverter list is required." Is anyone still using Fronius on this list? Is Fronius pulling out of the US market? Best, August August Goers Luminalt Energy Corporation www.luminalt.com <http://www.luminalt.com>
