I'm going to be upgrading on old dual inverter OutBack FX 2524 system to
dual VFX3524 inverters and would prefer to not use the new R series as I
have heard about problems with them.

I have located only one reconditioned VFX3524 so far but I see that there
are VFX3524M Marine version's available. I have no experience with the
Marine version. Can the Marine model work in an off grid home?

I see in the spec sheet that the VFX3524M has a listed AC Input Current Max
of 30A while the regular VFX3524 is listed at 60A.
