I would think that there is a clean out closer to the lines that actually flow water and other solids. The only time i have ever needed to ram a snake from a roof vent was on a 100 year old apartment house with galvanized sink plumbing. Some rust from inside the vent apparently flaked off and blocked the drain below the 3 rd fl sink! Anyone seen a blockage in the vent only? Ken Schaal Common Wealth Solar
