Hi all, Looking at a project with a 1000A fused disconnect at the POI connecting on the supply side of an existing service. I’m curious if there’s a general consensus in the industry on whether the requirements of 230.95 would apply here and whether best-practice (or requirement) would dictate use of an LSIG breaker instead of the disco. I know some will say that this is a “supply side connection” and not a service so 230 doesn’t apply. This would also introduce some other oddities like connecting a PV system behind GFP, not allowed by 705.32, though I believe the exception to 705.32 would apply since it’s a dedicated GFP for the second source.
Thanks in advance! Evan
