For rolling thru a building, I bought a “safe mover”: $569 https://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200673748_200673748
It has 2 end sets of turnable poly-urethane wheels, hydraulic jacks on both ends, & ratchet straps that connect one end with the other end. Rated at 3000#. Great for moving almost everything. You do have 4 point loads so if you are rolling over tile or stone floors I suggest laying down ¾: ply for dispersing the weight a bit. For getting down the road: $ cost custom built trailer… For narrow mountain roads & tight switchbacks - I built a narrow 3 ton trailer with an overhead Gannon I-Beam for a roller, & use a 2 ton chain fall to lift and roll the batteries off. The trailer has crank down jacks on each corner to stabilize the lift & transport while unloading. It will hold 4 of the smaller HUP Batteries & only 2 of the 2490 AHR/12 VDC cans. If anyone want pics let me know & I can either post or email direct. Dana Orzel Great Solar Works, Inc. It's not easy. It can be hard to get them out of the steel case. Slow and careful... I haven't done this a lot, but the few times it was a dicey proposition. Each set weighs in excess of 1000lbs. How have you all transported these? The originals were placed into service prior to the room’s walls and roof going up. Dilemma #2: The above system is comprised of a Trace SW5548 along with two Outback FM60s. After reprogramming the CCs and inverter with new charging parameters, I can’t get the Trace to export excess production once the batteries are charged. I do have the inverter set to “Sell” mode What am I missing? I have had little experience with the Trace line.
