Hi Dave, I was actually referring to a growing trend in the PV industry (particularly in Asia) to attach PV arrays - and also inverters in some cases - to floating pontoons and then install them on bodies of water. The systems are often referred to as floating PV (FPV) or "floatovoltaics".
