Circling back on this, it was suggested I check out this company: http://alenconsystems.com/news/alencon-solectria/
Pretty interesting. First we're going to try changing the motherboard and getting the GT100 back up and running, but if that doesn't work maybe we'll give this a try. It's 480Vac. Wait till one is available to release to the RMA, 3, buy extras so we dont need to wait and they had plenty in stock to sell but not to be the RMA. That really was my final straw. You might want to look at segmentating the combiner and going with manageable inverters, what AC side voltage are you running. I believe it's 49 strings of 11 Sunpower 220's, positive grounded. Regarding Hi-Q, how many failures did you have? Maybe we order some spares to limit downtime when one fails. Are they any better now that they're called Pro Harvest? Does this GT System have a combiner that you could go with any of the three phase inverters. Just a thought Jerry On Wed, Jun 5, 2019, 2:11 PM David Buckner <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: Hi all, We are working with a Xantrex GT 100 that appears on it's last legs. Schneider shipped a matrix and we installed it but that didn't work. Now they say we need to install a CCU and new motherboard. I believe I have all this right. If there is a way to replace the whole inverter with a legacy 600Vdc inverter instead, I'd do that. Any ideas on were to get those? Solectria PVI 95 seems like it would work. Otherwise our engineer could look at retrofitting the system with Hi-Q inverters. Any wisdom here would be greatly appreciated!
