If you are after production and consumption only, which makes a lot of sense, I would use Egauge. if you use the Core it can monitor 15 channels on one device. It also has several math functions, it can, for example, give running demand, if your customer wants to know demand compensation. Egauge can give a one-second resolution. It will also measure voltages, currents, energy, power factor, leading and lagging reactive power. If your customer ever wants to do storage the Egauge data can do design basics allowing system sizing and ROI determination.
