HI Allan and all, I”m with Dave when it comes to designing and cobbling together a fix for an incredibly expensive piece of equipment. Sure I can get it to work, but who’s fault is it when it doesn’t? And it does bring up the interesting point about where are the temp sensors located? Would seem you’d need a few to be able to measure temp both in the middle and outside. I can certainly see the situation that the middle/inside was much colder than the outside. If the temp sensor was on the outside then it could have a false reading potentially leading to damage. I very much like the LiFiBlue which will have it built in. Hope fully others will follow this route and give us an option for cold temps.
Where the question for this thread came from is a polaris lead to lithium conversion and in a place that gets really cold and not in a heated garage. I’ve done a few where I live but it doesn’t really get cold enough for it to be an issue.
