LG will also log temp, current, voltage, Soc, and determine Sol. The Sol
will be used along with other logged data for warranty. I would be careful
with surges, it was the reason LG decided not to market their 48V line of
RESU's in North America. Deep well pumps killed a few in Australia and
Germany had surge/ overcurrent (too much solar) problems.
