Is this a commercial project? If so depending on the incoming voltage,
Fronius Primo or Symos for the grid tied portion and Outback radians for the
battery side ( can stack up to 8 per Mate and hub ) . There is a company called
Sol-Ark that has a great true Hybrid but they are still working on stacking
inverters.

Re batteries, LG if they ever bring their 48 volt battery to the US,
SimpliPhi or Blue Planet out of Hawaii. With Outback you can use their 12 volt
output ( with a relay from Grainger ) to trip off the Neutral on the Fronius
inverters if the battery voltages get too high on an AC Coupled application. No
matter who you use there will be a few challenges but hey, if it was easy
everyone would think they could do it. Sounds like a fun, challenging project,
enjoy.

Subject: [RE-wrenches] Equipment ideas for very large residential PV and
battery backup

  Hi Wrenches,

We have a new potential client who wants a 60 kW PV system and a battery
backup system with 200 kWh of storage. The system will be grid tied and the
client insists on some sort of lithium battery technology and doesn't want
Tesla. For such a ridiculously large system, what kind of equipment would you
recommend? I'm thinking maybe Sunny Islands with Blue Ion LiFePO4 batteries?

  Best, August
