I disagree with the design and could not sway the home owner. I did not sell the equipment. The project was three hours away and it was obvious I was engaged to lend credentialing.. So basically, I walked away.

your in Vermont…cold and I would look at the max charge current the battery manu recommends but that seems to me to be WAY over kill. your using Schnider not that I use the enfizz products, but... Schnider “says” that these inverters are able to regulate the charge into the batteries as well as feed the grid. may be a different option. I too try to maximize low light conditions but it seems to me that this is not the way I would want to go.

My understanding is the intention is to get more power into batteries from the arrays during low light conditions, knowing that there is way too much power when there is full sun and will be limited to 5 kW max per controller.

Hi Guys, I have a customer wanting me to set 40 335W panels (13.4kW) using two Schneider Conext 80-600 (80A) charge controllers.. said it's a Conext tech support design.. Seems like that's a whole bunch of clipping to me.. What am I missing? tks db
