Great, I had no idea you all added a wind turbine to your line up. I'm
still waiting to hear back from Primus, but it doesn't look good. Even
though they advertise it works for telecomm, another wrench contacted
me privately, and said that the previous owner Southwest Wind Power told
him it would NOT work with positive ground systems, which precludes most
telecom.
Thanks,

The MidNite Chinook 200 is 100% isolated from ground and therefore
would work well on a positive ground system.
It has no up tower electronics other than a rectifier. These are
currently in production and available.
Thanks,

Hi All;
I am doing a Primus Air 30 (same as old Air X) installation in a
couple of days. This is for a telecomm system that is Positive
grounded 48 v. I had assumed these had been used for many years in
Telecomm systems over the years, but as I perused the manual last
night, it said that negative had to be bonded to ground or "severe
damage to the turbine may result".
I called Primus tech support, but they were not able to answer the
question yet, and I need to know ASAP to cancel the installation.
Thanks Again for your Help oh *RE*/vered/ *Wrenches*,
