I think the issue has always been locating the right parts, not the
installation. Everyone carries the Cobra X flex, but not the ferrules.
We usually crimp lugs on and use breakers with stud terminals, so the
need for ferrules is minimal.
I have always wondered about the terminal bussbars from Outback and
Midnite though. They're ILSCO and I can't find any mention about extra
flex, which usually means they are not rated for anything beyond Class B
stranding.

Be aware that depending upon the vintage of the Engage cable, up to
recently the conductors used in their cables are fine stranded and
cannot be used in the terminal blocks provided with the Soladeck.
This has been acknowledged by Enphase with a revision to their Engage
manufacturing spec, and by Soladeck to me in writing. One fix is to
confirm the date of manufacturer of the Engage cable ( much of the
fine strand version remains in distribution). Another is to source
appropriate ferrules to be crimped onto the fine stranded conductors
before using them in the standard Soladeck terminals.
Also beware of the same issue if you are splicing with these older
Engage cables. Most screw terminals like Polaris are also not listed
for use with fine stranded conductors. NSI has a special Polaris
terminal that is grey that is listed for use with fine stranding, and
can safely be used.
I saw a few incorrect Polaris blocks pulled from an installation
recently that had melted...

I use DIN rail mount "feed through" terminal blocks. There's all
kinds and you will find some constructed such that no live parts exposed.

I'm looking to bring 8 Enphase 240V circuits in multiple conduits

I'd rather use some kind of rail mounted terminals in an enclosure
or something rather than making splices in a generic j-box. I'm not
looking to combine circuits - just transition from THWN to Romex and
keep things neat an organized.
Any suggestions?
