The Pathfinder can be adapted to a circular board fitted with a female adapter for a tripod camera screw on the underneath side . All tripod use the same male screw for expensive or cheap tripods for cameras .Put three washers over the three tripod holes and three screws can hold the PathFinder to a circular board cut to fit , a 5/8 " or 3/4" plywood board cut to fit inside and a hole drilled in the middle of the board for a female camera threaded adapter to be glued in for the tripod screw . I am lazy and often just put a small neck pad or small bean bag on top of a tripod or lay it on the roof . The Pathfinder people are great , you can afford to buy many a a cheap price as a professional for your crews . They also have the only program for for Solar Thermal and constantly update their programs for free . You can use any camera . They easily replace Pathfinder parts . A friend of mind has invented a gyroscope type mount that keeps a Samung or IPhone level for taking picture s as you are walking with two small gyro gimbals that the cell phones attach to . GatorTom
