i have a set of their fc420's flooded, lead calcium... which is (imo) the
perfect battery for grid tie with battery backup. i add water every other year,
and equalize every 6 months. these are from 2008 and still going strong.

another system i have has a 1986 vintage set (made by "globe battery") and they
are still working fine too, so maybe this is more about the specific battery
chemistry than manufacturer?

Hi Wrenches,

Anyone using Rolls Surrette batteries? Happy with them? Worth the extra $$$?

Thanks for the feedback,Kris
