A question about turning the AC on/off as means of primary on/off control for 
this AC coupling question.
Some time ago I was told that most (all?) inverters don’t like having the AC 
switched on/off as a means of disconnect.  
If I understand correctly this causes  the DC internal relay to have to switch 
under load which shortens it life. Under normal life this type of disconnecting 
is really quite rare ( power failures or manual )

Is this still true?
