That is correct.

That is the AFC (automatic frequency control) function, or also called Tertiary
regulation.
From the manual:
Clocks that depend on the stability of the grid frequency for their accuracy
become increasingly
Inaccurate when there are constant frequency deviations. Frequency
fluctuations, i.e., deviations from
The nominal frequency, occur, for example, in off-grid power systems that
operate with a diesel
Generator.
The ”Automatic Frequency Control (AFC)” (German: AFRA) function of the Sunny
Island allows the
use of clocks in these types of off-grid power systems. This function is
activated using the
”250.11 AfraEna” parameter.
The time deviation is compensated on average.

I believed the OP asked about FSPC, which only is in a positive direction from
baseline Frequency.

What are the appliances that are having issues? I am aware of fixes for certain
types of issues.
Some tweaks can be done in both the SI and SB to help with external issues.

Thanks

Again, conflicting information, as I was told by an SMA trainer that the SI
will run the shifted frequency in the opposite direction to allow electronics
that use the zero crossing to recover, like clocks.

The Sunny Island only shifts in the positive direction to limit the Sunny Boys
output.

What components are having issues?

You can contact me offline to discuss.

Anyone know if the Sunny Island’s Frequency Shift Power Control only shifts the
frequency in the positive direction as indicated in the manual (ex. +1 Hz to 61
Hz for the fAC Start Delta). Or can it also shift the frequency down? I’m
getting 59 Hz output on a remote system and it’s screwing with some other
components.
