ALEC is strategizing its next attack on renewable energy. According
to the article linked below;
"Much of ALEC's agenda for this week's meeting is returning to the
organization's focus on promoting the extraction, production and
exportation of fossil fuels while putting up roadblocks for renewable
energy initiatives where it can."

ALEC is a hugely funded lobbying organization that can run its spin
campaign through the echo chamber of the media. Additionally it
employs an army of well-paid lobbyists that influence authorities at
all levels. Most of us are already feeling the effects of the assault.
It is important that renewable energy workers be informed, and
educate officials and the public wherever possible. There are now
many thousands of us now, and we can influence the debate.
