Hi Brian, In my experience this is a relatively common failure. Fans will burn out after a few years of continual run and yes, they are a pain to replace but can be done, the fan can be purchased from electronics shops. Replacing the control board that causes the fan on is an expensive hassle. I have in the past with success rigged an external fan to run when AC input detected (ie generator on) as fan is mostly used during charge unless the inverter is working hard. Ugly but functional. The fan on one is running nearly continuously, so two questions: Anything in the settings that could cause this (it isn't related to the load, which is usually low and evenly split between the two 120 legs)? How about repairs? The concern is it will fail...I've never changed out any internal parts on SWs, and a few posts on the internet made it sound like the fan is a pain in the butt. Any reputable repair shops in the Southeast or east coast? Thanks!
