I have been asked to design module-level monitoring for an old system with a string inverter. I see that Solar Edge has a SMI interface which allows panel monitoring without using their in-house inverter. Has anyone tried this yet? There is no manual that I can find on their website for the SMI. Maybe it's not shipped yet.
