I second Howies request. For several reasons, including the extreme difficulty in using the Mate, I have been steering customer away from Outback systems. The inverters are great and have been very reliable but they are not worth all the headaches and wasted time that the Mate has caused.

Is it enough of an improvement to make a difference to clients' ability to understand and control their system? How about the interface with the FNDC - are those screens any less confusing? I have not even seen the Mate3 yet, so any and all experience and feedback is welcomed.
