Glen,
I am unaware of the backup memory system you spoke of but resetting them after 
losing the settings is a 3 minute deal. Feel free to call myself or any number 
of folks on the list probably before you kill the DC and I for one will be glad 
to walk you through the menu and let you record any pertinent settings that 
apply to that system.
