If in range of service, you can use a Verizon MiFi device for wireless access
and a wireless bridge to connect a data collection device like a SMA webbox or
and Enphase Envoy to the wireless access point (the MiFi). The amount of data
transmitted will not come close to the data limits.

Send an email to Greg Smith at SMA and ask him for suggestions to get the
ball rolling.
He is one of their trainers & very knowledgeable.

Subject: [RE-wrenches] SMA Sunny WebBox mobile/wireless options

Hello Wrenches,

I have an existing customer who has a Sunny WebBox which has been in service
for several years with no issues. He is happy with the service. He is
leaving the country for 1 year for work and wants to continue the service
while he rents out his house. He can't leave his internet service in place,
to which the WebBox is now hard wired, and would like to have a
mobile/wireless option for keeping this in service.

I also have a new install on a farm where the family is planning to move
into sometime after the PV system/WebBox is in place and would like to
suggest a wireless option for them to use while the house is being renovated
and prior to their wired internet connection being in place.

Have any of you dealt with this situation previously, and if so do you have
any working installations running over mobile services?

With Regards
Carl Adams
