Jay, I recently ran a smartmeter prior to changing out to a NEMS meter here in California (PG&E). <for test purposes only of course>
I saw the energy flow indicator reverese direction and after a period of time, the kWH reading also decreased so I was pretty confident that the smartmeter was behaving the same as to old dics meters. A recent install "test" showed the meter resister a negative watt indication, but I couldn't run it long enough to see if the KWH went backwards. thanks, jay peltz power _______________________________________________ List sponsored by Home Power magazine List Address: RE-wrenches@lists.re-wrenches.org Options & settings: http://lists.re-wrenches.org/options.cgi/re-wrenches-re-wrenches.org List-Archive: http://lists.re-wrenches.org/pipermail/re-wrenches-re-wrenches.org List rules & etiquette: www.re-wrenches.org/etiquette.htm Check out participant bios: www.members.re-wrenches.org _______________________________________________ List sponsored by Home Power magazine List Address: RE-wrenches@lists.re-wrenches.org Options & settings: http://lists.re-wrenches.org/options.cgi/re-wrenches-re-wrenches.org List-Archive: http://lists.re-wrenches.org/pipermail/re-wrenches-re-wrenches.org List rules & etiquette: www.re-wrenches.org/etiquette.htm Check out participant bios: www.members.re-wrenches.org
