Hi there,
I just shipped a largish bank of Exide BMPE19 flooded batteries to the Islands. On unloading, a pallet split and several cells lost electrolyte. 8 out of the 48 - 2V cells lost about 1/3 of their acid. The question is would it be safe to even out the acid in the whole 48 cells and then top up with distilled water? Appreciate your collective wisdom. Carl Emerson Free Power Co.
