Darryl, His present power system is 120 volt DC in his entire place, so he is looking for an inverter that will accept that and
grid tie. >From my understanding the only 120 volt AC he has is to run the saw mill and he wants to reduce that with the solar that he has, seems that his battery bank is floating much of the time. Except that old habits die hard I could use a lesson in reducing consumption from this fellow! Excel Tec makes a 120 V AC out from small PV array, It is ment to operate on a 15 amp circuit I think. They also make a 120 volt DC input but I am not sure if that is Grid Tie 1741 --- On Mon, 11/15/10, Peter Parrish <peter.parr...@calsolareng.com> wrote: > From: Peter Parrish <peter.parr...@calsolareng.com> > Subject: Re: [RE-wrenches] 120 volt grid tie inverter > To: glenn.b...@glbcc.com, "'RE-wrenches'" <re-wrenches@lists.re-wrenches.org> > Date: Monday, November 15, 2010, 7:38 PM > Bob, > > Do you mean they have a nominal 120 Vdc input?
