Hi Jay, I recently asked Enphase about a system we will be installing in a small cabin of a campground. It turns out that there is no internet access in this cabin, but internet is available somewhere on the grounds of the campground. -------- There are a variety of options you can use to connect the Envoy to the internet. The Envoy basically needs a device which dynamically assigns an DHCP address (normally a router). The devices you could use in your situation are: A wirless bridge, Powerline ethernet bridges, a cradlepoint router with a wireless service stick (sold by cell phone carriers). In detached buildings a wireless bridge is normally the best option. The one we've seen most sites have success with is the Linksys WET610n. Since it is not our product we do not provide support for it, but Linksys is normally very easy to set up. --------
Of course the site is many hours away from our office, so I will need to plan on a couple of options to take with me, and expect to spend some time testing...
