Lots of people—from reporters to homeowners—consistently refer to the AC voltage in their homes as “110/220.” Where does this come from? If North American utilities were putting out power at that voltage range, they would be in serious trouble. Anyone able to educate me on this matter? marco -----Inline Attachment Follows----- _______________________________________________ List sponsored by Home Power magazine List Address: RE-wrenches@lists.re-wrenches.org Options & settings: http://lists.re-wrenches.org/options.cgi/re-wrenches-re-wrenches.org List-Archive: http://lists.re-wrenches.org/pipermail/re-wrenches-re-wrenches.org List rules & etiquette: www.re-wrenches.org/etiquette.htm Check out participant bios: www.members.re-wrenches.org
