Darryl, If you're lifting from below ground you'll need a submersible pump to push water. Suction head maxes out at 25' at sea level before cavitation, with 1' reduction in theoretical lift capacity per 1000' above sea level. Consider a DC Quad SCS sub from SunPumps, 1-800-370-8115, to both lift and pressurize. It is so small I want to do most loads DC, it has been over a year since I have had this type project.Where are people getting 24 or 32 or 48 volt CFLs? Are there any LED now suitable at these voltages? Who is the source for pumps DC low cost, and lift of 25 feet plus presuration of 40 PSI? Slow flow is OK Darryl And Thanks for the help in the past on many problems. BTW I was overwelemded with responses to my post on need for engineer for tower. Thanks. _______________________________________________ List sponsored by Home Power magazine List Address: RE-wrenches@lists.re-wrenches.org Options & settings: http://lists.re-wrenches.org/options.cgi/re-wrenches-re-wrenches.org List-Archive: http://lists.re-wrenches.org/pipermail/re-wrenches-re-wrenches.org List rules & etiquette: www.re-wrenches.org/etiquette.htm Check out participant bios: www.members.re-wrenches.org |
