Something you may want to also consider and others may want to add their
experience is when using multiple charge controllers on the same battery bank
but different solar arrays, you can have some issues with charging rates
"stepping" on each other.

Ideally it would be nice to have each solar array continue equally to share the
charge rate down to full battery state. However, in many cases when the
battery is near full charge, one charge controller will continue to charge at a
high current while the other controller "sees" this high charging voltage on
the battery and totally shuts down all charging.

This can be a concern with your client as they see half their array doing
nothing on a bright sunny day when the other half is at full charging load and
they think something has failed. Yes, there are many ways to balance these
together, but this usually does not really completely solve the problem.
