Andrew, I have done this for multiple installs, most recently on a commercial three phase 240 install (with 6 SMA 7000s) and a residential two circuit Enphase install. The plans were submitted to the AHJ and approved in both cases without question. I labeled these per 705.10 and 690.64.
The commercial install was as you suggest to simplify the grid connection. The residential Enphase install was done to provide a single point of metering for the system. I hope this helps Carl Adams SunRock Solar On Tue, Jan 12, 2010 at 2:35 PM, William Miller <will...@millersolar.com> wrote: > Andrew: > > It is not in the code.
