Wow, I like that. I have an off-grid client with an Outback quad-stack and a
20kW Onan liquid-cooled gennie who will be burying lines to run coolant from
the gennie to a boiler loop for in floor radiant. Photos are in the gennie
article in the next HP. This is a first; none of our customers has ever
tried this, so it'll be interesting to see how well it works, likely
beginning next winter.

But I don't think that either of our solutions is what Orion is looking for.

Hi Orion,

My used 1967 flat head four cylinder powered 10kW Kohler LPG unit came with
the outputs from the block for plumbing in a car heater, so I adapted it to
a homemade heat exchange system. It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to
modify the radiator hoses with some custom tees to do the same on your
install.

Sincerely,

Chris Worcester

Wrenches,

Does anyone have any experience with or have a product they can recommend
for a combined heat and power generator, specifically for an off-grid
application. The prospective client would like to combine the electrical
generation/charging capacity with their planned in-floor radiant heating
system.

Thanks in advance for any information.
