Outside yes, ocean no. Corrosion comes from moisture, the salt is just the fast acting catalyst, methinks. And the fog, no doubt. It's quite a bit drier hereabouts. I'll start keeping a weather eye out for failures on down the road, but so far so good.

Just the opposite situation here. We've been using Fronius almost exclusively for the past four years with very few issues at all. The few we have had Fronius tech support was all over it PDQ.
