Folks, In California, for a single DHW system serving a multiple unit building; DHW is a storage tank with indirect heating via an internal heat exhanging loop; heating loop supplied by high temp (145 deg) gas fired boiler;
Is an anti-scalding valve required on the output of the storage tank? If so, by what authority? If a solar heated storage tank (drain back) is installed ahead of the main storage tank, does that change the requirements?
