Yes it was, and you're right, it is a simple mercury switch, no mppt or 
anything else.  I rather liked the DC circuits buil into the panel since it 
allowed for controlling individual DC circuits.  We had two in our house and 
thus had separate breakers for our DC well pump and DC pressure pump.  But 
again that was with the basic Infinity 6 panel, which is the left side of 
the unit you have.
