I did the following on Mac OS (10.6.8):
brew untap edc/homebrew-rdkit
brew tap edc/homebrew-rdkit
brew rm rdkit
brew fetch --HEAD rdkit --force -v # make sure you see "Checked out
revision 2234" (or slightly larger revision number) brew install --HEAD rdkit

When it comes to the RDKit installation itself, this error occurs:
