This morning I noticed that Jean-Paul's paper on conformation generation with open-source tools has appeared: http://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/ci2004658 It's a nice paper and the RDKit ends up doing pretty well; check it out.
In other news, I created a google+ page for the RDKit: https://plus.google.com/116996224395614252219 There's not much there now other than some links to publications I'm aware of that make use of the RDKit.
