Here's a reminder about this opportunity for the community to get together at the Knime open-source days in October.
---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Greg Landrum <[email protected]> Date: Tue, Jun 28, 2011 at 6:57 AM Subject: RDKit at the Knime Open Source Days To: RDKit Discuss <[email protected]> Dear all, The guys at knime.org are organizing a meeting of people doing open-source development using Knime: http://www.knime.org/kos-2011 This is a great chance for us to get together and do some really cool and useful work that will help both the RDKit and Knime projects. It would be excellent to have a good turnout from the RDKit community. Though the description of the program is focused on developing knime extensions, which requires some java programming experience, I would be really happy to see interested users of the RDKit and Knime show up as well. Non-expert developers can work with the rest of us to help spec out new nodes that should be developed, test those nodes, and, most important of all, put together sample workflows showing how to do interesting things with both Knime and the RDKit. I've asked Michael and Bernd at knime.com about this and they agree completely. So: if you have the time to attend, please register and let me know about it so that we can start planning the agenda. I hope to see some of you in Konstanz in October, -greg ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Got Input? Slashdot Needs You. Take our quick survey online.
