Not on a Saluki. I have them on my 1993 X0-1. They're excellent brakes. I have some circa 1996 Shimano Deore XT brakes on my AR...not nearly as good, not nearly as easy to use. I may upgrade those to the CX70's which are designed to solve the problem you mention.
