Bobbie, I was struck by how many of us had stingrays as well. And the photo of the Orange Krate reveals my not wanting to ride more than a block/1% grade. It was so heavy and not even upright—it was laid back! I mean check out the picture: the springer front end was probably 7 pounds all by itself! I am not a weight-weenie, but I swear that bike weighed 45 pounds unloaded. When I was maybe 12, I rode it on some organized youth ride in the country and I thought I was gonna DIE.
