My KOM has a level top tube. Steepish geometry. Like I said, it could be
a good monster tourer, once I figure out the rack situation. I'm going on
a ride this Saturday, regardless of the 25 degree forecast. Studded tires!

The QR Wald 3133 is good for now for shopping and general light stuff, but
it sways around once I put a six-pack or two up there.
I'll upgrade the front to an M12 canti rack and medium Wald 137 eventually.
That, paired with an Acorn large Saddlebag, should carry moderate loads ok
(I have a black B17 on it now). Maybe I'll clamp on a rear rack, or maybe
I'll get an Old Man Mountain skewer mount rack for the rear.

Pump peg!

Same tubing, same lug set. And check out the tread remaining on those 25
year old tires.

I tried a giant Wald twin basket in back, but it was too heavy. Made the
bike look--and handle--like a shopping cart. A very patriotic shopping
cart.

Cheers,

Tim
