Maybe bike models are like celebrities in that they get more attention when they are gone? For instance, a few years back we had a long thread about whether or not the Rambouillet was the "best Rivendell", and it had been out of production for some time. So your inquiry about Betty may trigger others to share their thoughts about their experiences. It's been fun to hear your enthusiasm for yours, and your timing on getting one was quite lucky.
