The B.17 Champion Special has been available with chrome plated rails,
black painted rails and copper plated rails. None that I'm aware of
have ever had brass rails. The regular B.17 has small steel rivets; I
don't think I've ever seen one where the rivets were brown. All I've
ever seen (and I've seen many standard B.17s over the years) were
silver. However, the standard has small rivets, the Special large
ones. There's no confusing one for the other, they're immediately
identifiable at a glance.
