Wise words, Manny. And now I need to know about all the wood burning! Are the saddles "wood" burned too? My cheap wood burner crapped out in New Zealand, and now I'm fixin' to get a non-crappy one. Hadn't thought about saddles.... And plus I need one of those BB&H patches!
