I had to take a trip down to the Bay Area for family. Upon arriving at the
airport in San Francisco last Thursday (and waiting on the tarmac because
our gate was occupied), I saw that Manny had proposed a ride for Sunday. So
why the hell not.

4 hours or so, leaving Fremont BART, through Niles Canyon (alongside the
railway I used to maintain track on), into Sunol (Mayor Bosco), up along
Pleasanton Ridge, down through the canyons, up again to a beautiful vista
of the whole enchilada.

Manny has some great shots on his photostream. I took a few as well.

Lots of fire road action, singletrack, dry gravel, soft dirt.

Pictures prove the terrain was mixed!
