well i rode past the vending machine today. visual confirmation. furthermore, i fixed a flat in the rain and apparently left the sliver of glass in there, so my spare was getting soft. i stopped at a shop that had an outdoor public workstand and bought a 27.5 mountain tube, which fit my hetres perfecto. ha!
