Sorry Ann, I don't think I asked my question properly. I think you said the 3" fat tires (Knard) were less bouncy than narrower tires at higher pressure. I was wondering what the width of the narrower tires you had in mind was, and what higher pressure was used in those narrower than 3" fat tires. I was wondering because generally speaking I would have thought bigger cushier tires would be bouncier. >From what Patrick wrote subsequently it sounds like you meant the fat tires give a less bouncy ride over very bumpy terrain, as opposed to tires feeling bouncy on smooth pavement due to variations in pedaling action or other rider motion. Silly me.
