The Burberry's shell is made from thick, finely woven cotton with a
silky, not canvas feel, and it has the usual plaid cotton lining. The
ice cream on the pie is thick, button in body/arm liner and collar
liners made from camel's hair. It is a 42 regular. As new except for a
very tiny moth divot in the collar lining.
I paid $750 for it back in 1986 from the Burberry shop on Ct Avenue in
WDC. I used it for two years at bus stops, but since moving to NM it
has hung in closets for 25 years.
750 1986 dollars are worth 1,600 dollars or 53,000 rubles. *You* can
have it for only $300 (2013) plus the shipping from 87120, or 100,000
rubles. Offers considered. Trades considered.
I was just looking at the Burberry web site. I have one like yours that
dates from around 1985. There's no current model that looks exactly
like it, but the only full-length current choice is around $1600; to get
an duplicate, with the button-in liners and the identical color you'd
have to select "Bespoke" and pay around $2700.
This is one screaming deal!
